Dear Residents,
This notice is to briefly outline the Association’s snow removal procedures for common areas.
After a storm has ended, snow removal will occur as follows:
- Up to 12 inches: same-day removal
- More than 12 inches up to 1.5 feet: within 24 hours
- More than 1.5 feet: within 48 hours
Snow removal is scheduled based on these rules, weather conditions, and contractor availability. Residents may not dictate the date or time of snow removal.
If residents wish to move their vehicles prior to snow removal, that decision is entirely up to them. If Association snow removal operations may affect a resident’s daily routine, that unit is responsible for making any necessary alternate arrangements.
Vehicle movement prior to snow removal is the sole responsibility of each resident. The Association will not delay, reschedule, or alter snow removal operations to accommodate individual vehicles, schedules, or preferences.
Snow removal operations may temporarily restrict access to parking areas, drive lanes, or walkways. If a resident believes these operations may interfere with their daily routine, work schedule, travel plans, or personal obligations, that resident must make alternate arrangements in advance. This may include relocating vehicles, adjusting travel times, or arranging off-site parking.
Residents may not direct, request, or dictate when snow removal occurs or how it is performed. All snow removal is conducted according to the Association’s established procedures, weather conditions, and contractor availability, and applies uniformly to all units.
Snow removal scheduling is also dependent on contractor availability. The Association utilizes third-party snow removal contractors who may be servicing multiple properties during a storm event. As a result, exact arrival times cannot be predicted or guaranteed, and delays may occur due to weather severity, road conditions, equipment limitations, or regional demand.
If you have questions about snow removal operations during a snow event, please email building AT 50longmanorcondoct.org for information regarding current conditions, removal timing, and operational updates.
Sincerely,
Long Manor Owners Association
